TransLink is the system of public transportation in Vancouver. Its services include bus, SkyTrain, and SeaBus transport, as well as the HandyDART for those requiring extra assistance on public transportation. Like in most other major cities, TransLink operates a reloadable fare card, Compass, which is valid everywhere on transit in Vancouver. You can also pay by contactless Visa or Mastercard (or other mobile wallet), or buses will also take cash (exact fare only).

Fares (for Zone 1):
· Adult $2.85 ($2.20 with Compass)
· Concession $1.80
· Children under 5 and CNIB and War Amputee pass holders ride free
· Single fares are valid for 90 minutes, allowing as many transfers and transit types as needed
· Other zones result in higher fares, although customers can travel across all zones for the price of a Zone 1 fare at off-peak times (on weekdays after 6:30 p.m. and all day Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)

Bus transportation:
· includes buses, community shuttles and trolleys
· (late-night service) NightBus Route: begin with “N”
· Community Shuttle Route: begin with “C”
· requires exact coin change if paying with cash

HandyDART:
· Shared- ride door-to-door service for customers who require extra assistance (physical or cognitive disability)

· Trips are available as casual (one-time), or subscription (daily or weekly)

SkyTrain transportation in Vancouver:
· The oldest and longest, fully-automated, driverless, rapid-transit system in the world, with three integrated lines, and 54 stations
· Expo Line: Waterfront Station to King George Station or Production Way-University Station (split at Columbia Station)
· Millennium Line: VCC-Clark Station to Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station.
· Canada Line: Waterfront Station to YVR-Airport Station or Richmond-Brighouse Station (split at Bridgeport Station)

SeaBus transportation in Vancouver:
· A passenger-only ferry service across the Burrard Inlet
· Connects Vancouver (Waterfront Station, close to the Vancouver Convention Center, and Canada Place) and North Vancouver (Lonsdale Quay)
· Operates between 6:00am – 1:00am (approximately)
· During the day, Monday – Saturday there is a ferry every 15 minutes. Sundays and evening, there is a ferry every 30 minutes.

West Coast Express:
· Runs between Mission and Waterfront Station (65 kilometres).
· Operates Monday to Friday, excluding holidays (5 trains per day).
· Connects with downtown public transportation in Vancouver at Waterfront Station.
