While most people come to Toronto to visit the events from a usual before-you-die list, like Toronto International Film Festival or St Patrick’s Day Parade, we suggest you attend the festivals with something actually worth dying for — the food. Here is the list of the top Food Festivals in Toronto you will be able to attend before the autumn is through, and most of them for free:
1. The Mac + Cheese Festival

5. Toronto Soup Festival
When: October, 20 to 21, 2018
Where: Garrison Common, Fort York
Held for the first time, this soup feast will introduce you to the best creations of local artisans. In case some soups have coolen off by the time you arrive, the atmosphere will be warmed up with campfires and musical performances. Reinforce your kitchen arsenal with some new recipes and goodies from a farmer’s market. Bring the kids and keep them occupied with games and activities for two full days in a row — priceless. Adults pay $15 (and can vote for the best sample).
