Sachant que Montr\u00e9al est la deuxi\u00e8me plus grande ville francophone au monde (source: http:\/\/www.cic.gc.ca\/english\/resources\/publications\/discover\/section-13.asp<\/a> ) apr\u00e8s Paris, et la plus grande en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, il n’est pas \u00e9tonnant qu\u2019un aussi grand groupe d\u2019immigrants Fran\u00e7ais arrivent chaque ann\u00e9e pour s\u2019installer et vivre \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al et \u00e0 travers le reste de la Province du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

Il est vrai que quelques villes francophones en Afrique ont une population plus importante que Montr\u00e9al, notamment Abidjan et Kinshasa, mais ces villes ont un nombre moins important que Montr\u00e9al d’habitants dont le fran\u00e7ais est la langue maternelle. De plus, Montr\u00e9al peut offrir \u00e0 la plupart des gens un meilleur style de vie et de meilleures conditions de travail qu’Abidjan et Kinshasa.<\/p>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s Statistique Canada<\/a>, depuis Juillet 2009, Montr\u00e9al est devenue la seconde ville Canadienne la plus peupl\u00e9e du pays, avec plus de 1.9 millions d\u2019habitants.<\/p>\n

Le fran\u00e7ais et l\u2019anglais sont les langues dominantes parl\u00e9es \u00e0 la maison, avec 52.4% parlant le fran\u00e7ais et 12.5% parlant l\u2019anglais.<\/p>\n

De nombreuses industries telles que le commerce, la finance, l\u2019a\u00e9rospatial, les pharmaceutiques, la culture, le tourisme, le cin\u00e9ma et bien d\u2019autres font de Montr\u00e9al un joueur important dans le monde des affaires internationales, attirant beaucoup d\u2019employ\u00e9s \u00e0 immigrer ou se relocaliser \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Il y a 40,000 citoyens fran\u00e7ais qui sont inscrits au Consulat de France \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al et il est estim\u00e9 que dans les dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es il y a eu une forte augmentation (+72%). \u00a0Il est estim\u00e9 que 40,000 fran\u00e7ais ne soient pas inscrits au Consulat, augmentant le nombre de fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al \u00e0 80,000 qui habitent \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al seulement (Source: http:\/\/www.consulfrance-quebec.org\/spip.php?article14505<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Bien que Montr\u00e9al soit une terre d\u2019opportunit\u00e9 pour de nombreuses nationalit\u00e9s, son processus d\u2019immigration stricte encourage les candidats d\u2019avoir une connaissance de base de la langue fran\u00e7aise afin de mieux s\u2019int\u00e9grer dans la vie locale et d\u2019aider \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuer la langue fran\u00e7aise qui est sujet aux provinces anglophones entourantes et \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re am\u00e9ricaine.\u00a0 Une fois encore, les immigrants fran\u00e7ais sont en premi\u00e8re ligne des immigrants re\u00e7us par les autorit\u00e9s locales gagnant le droit de vivre \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al et de participer au d\u00e9veloppement positif de la m\u00e9tropole. \u00a0Cela serait-il d\u00fb a une certain peur des Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois francophones qui ressentent que la langue fran\u00e7aise est menac\u00e9e \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (Source: Le Devoir<\/a>) ?<\/p>\n
