Explore Québec this Summer

During the summer months when the weather is hot, there is no need to sit inside wondering what to do on your weekends or time off. Whether it’s wandering the great outdoors, golfing, an adventure on land or in water, or just relaxing under the sun, the province of Québec offers the perfect day out for you.

Québec has some of the most beautiful national parks in the world, all with natural and unique sights, sounds and scenery, perfect for a long day’s walk, or even a night of camping under the stars – you can even camp in a tepee in some parks! A few that are definitely worth a look are Parc National de Miguasha (mentioned on the World Heritage List), Hautes Gorges de-la-Rivière-Malbaie and Grands-Jardins among others. Check out our blog on the SEPAQ parks for more information!

If you’re someone who craves adventure, why not try a day or weekend of whitewater rafting at the Rivière Rouge , or on the Lachine rapids of the St Laurence River? With plenty of packages offered, including meals and camping, there is no better way to get your blood pumping as you fly down the winding rivers and enjoy the scenery of Québec. Another adventurous way to explore Québec, is canyoning – a cliff-side view of the beautiful landscape. Or how about trying an aerial course that takes you above the treetops to see the scenery from above, with zip lines ranging from 30 to 400 meters?

Prefer to explore Québec from a more relaxing standpoint? Why not test out your swing at one of the province’s beautiful golf courses, or take a day (or two) at the Relais santé – a spa network that offers an extensive array of services in natural settings, to rejuvenate mind and body.

No matter how you want to spend your free time this summer, from the trees to the water, walking, swinging, or relaxing, you have come to the right place. Explore Québec your way!
